In The Way of the Wall Street Warrior: Conquer the Corporate Game Using Tips, Tricks, and Smartcuts, veteran investment banker and executive Dave Liu delivers an acerbic and irreverent insider’s guide to using gamesmanship to get hired, get ahead, and survive on Wall Street, Main Street, or any other ferociously competitive environment.

The book discusses tactics for getting your foot in the door and then rising to the top of the food chain. The strategies and techniques discussed within apply whether you spend 18 hours a day in an office right next to your nearest colleague or you’re working from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
You’ll learn interview tips, techniques for mastering the social environment at work, and CYA strategies to protect yourself from unexpected setbacks. The author discusses how to read a room, in a virtual meeting or in real life, and why it’s more important than reading the prospectus. You’ll discover the importance of the “How,” as opposed to the “Why” and the “What,” and why success means doing the least amount of work for the most pay you can extract.
The Way of the Wall Street Warrior shows you how to be the smartest dumb person in the room by making the people around you think you’re something special when, in fact, you’re the patient corporate warrior who sits idly by while everyone else is burning themselves out in the rat race.
Perfect for managers, employees, and executives in any competitive environment, The Way of the Wall Street Warrior: Conquer the Corporate Game Using Tips, Tricks, and Smartcuts will also earn a place in the libraries of business leaders seeking actionable tips on making sure their hard work pays off.
