<p>The editor:<BR><b>Serge Dibart</b> is the Department Chair and Program director of the periodontal residency program at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He is the editor of <i>Practical Advanced Periodontal Surgery</i> and co-editor of <i>Practical Periodontal Diagnosis and Treatment Planning</i> and <i>Practical Osseous Surgery in Periodontics and Implant Surgery</i>.</p>

<p><i>Practical Periodontal Plastic Surgery, Second Edition</i> builds on the success of the first edition to provide the qualified and trainee periodontist with an essential guide to the clinical requirements and step-by-step procedures of periodontal plastic surgery. The book retains its emphasis on increasingly requested esthetic procedures such as crown lengthening and root coverage, but also deals with other mucogingival operations such as hard and soft pre-prosthetic and pre-implant ridge augmentation.
