<b>Ash Amin</b> works in the Centre for Urban and Regional Development Studies at the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK. He is the editor, most recently, of <i>Globalisation, Institutions and Regional Development in Europe</i> (with Nigel Thrift).
