<p><b>Said Gaci</b>, Geophysics Engineer, Sonatrach Division Exploration, Algeria and Olga Hachay, Professor/Lead Scientist, Institute of Geophysics Ural Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences, Russia. Said Gaci received the Diploma in geophysical engineering and the Magister degree in petroleum economics and strategic management from the Algerian Petroleum Institute, Boumerdés, Algeria, in 1997 and 2004, respectively, and the Magister and Ph.D. degrees in geophysics from the University of Sciences and Technology Houari Boumediene, Algiers, Algeria, in 2002 and 2011, respectively. He worked as a Senior Geophysicist with the Division Exploration, Sonatrach, Boumerdés, from 2004 to 2015. Currently, he is the head of Development and Valorization Department at the Algerian Petroleum Institute. His research interests include the application of signal processing and pattern recognition techniques in geosciences.</p> <p><b>Olga Hachay</b> received the Ph.D. degree in geophysics from the Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, Russia, in 1979, and earned the title of Professor in geophysics from Moscow State University (Geological Faculty), Moscow, Russia, in 1994. Dr. Hachay is the leader scientific researcher of the Institute of geophysics Ural Branch of Russian Academy of sciences in the frame of the laboratory of borehole geophysics since 2008. She is involved in many research projects and published several papers in reputed journals.</p>
