<p><b>Barry Kipperman</b> is Instructor of Veterinary Ethics at the University of California at Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine, and Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery, University of Missouri. </p> <p><b>Bernard E. Rollin</b> was a University Distinguished Professor and Professor of Philosophy, Animal Sciences, and Biomedical Sciences, as well as University Bioethicist at Colorado State University. He was the author of more than 20 books, including <i>Animal Rights and Human Morality.</i>
