<p><b>About the Editors</b> <p><b>Shawn J. Parry-Giles</b> is Professor of Communication and Director of the Center for Political communication and Civic Leadership at the University of Maryland. She is the author of <i>The Rhetorical Presidency, Propaganda, and the Cold War, 1945-1955</i> (2001) and co-author of <i>Constructing Clinton: Hyper-Reality and Presidential Image-Making in Postmodern Politics</i> (2002) and <i>The Prime-Time Presidency</i>: The West Wing<i> and US Nationalism</i> (2006). She is the co-editor of P<i>ublic Address and Moral Judgment: Critical Studies in Ethical Tensions</i> (2009). <p><b>J. Michael Hogan</b> is Professor of Rhetoric and Co-director of the Center for Democratic Deliberation at the Pennsylvania State University. He is the author of the <i>Panama Canal In American Politics</i> (1986), <i>The Nuclear Freeze Campaign</i> (1994), and <i>Woodrow Wilson's Western Tour</i> (2006). He also edited two other volumes, <i>Rhetoric and Community</i> (1998) and<i> Rhetoric and Reform in the Progressive Era</i> (2003). In 2008, Hogan was elected a Distinguished Scholar of the National Communication Association.
