Dermot Crowley is the founder and Director of Adapt Productivity, a leading productivity training and coaching business based in Sydney. He is also the best-selling author of Smart Work, also published by Wiley. Since 2002 Dermot has been working with corporate clients around Australia and New Zealand, with occasional engagements in the UK, US and Asia. Before starting his own business, Dermot had six years’ experience working in the time management training industry. He is the creator of the Smart Work productivity program, which is the productivity program of choice for many of Australia’s top banks, law firms and consulting firms. He also works with leadership teams through 1:1 productivity coaching or his Productive Leadership program. He is often engaged to present at conferences, and would deliver keynotes on a regular basis at conferences/team off sites. Dermot’s passion has always been linking productivity theory to technology. His business was conceived in 2002 when he realized that many executives has transitioned from paper diary systems to tools like MS Outlook, yet many had left behind some of the good practices they applied to their paper tools. Many years later, the same problem exists, hence the need for this books. Apart from writing Smart Work, Dermot has a lot of experience writing articles and social media posts.
