Jonathan Harris is Head of Birmingham School of Art at Birmingham City University, UK. He is the author and editor of twenty books on modern and contemporary art, including The New Art History: A Critical Introduction (2001), Globalization and Contemporary Art (Wiley‐Blackwell 2011) and The Utopian Globalists: Artists of Worldwide Revolution, 2013 (Wiley‐Blackwell). He has taught and lectured in universities, museums and galleries throughout the world for more than thirty years.
