Beschreibungen

This unique book deals almost wholly with the clinical aspects of the subject. Male Infertility is a book written by a clinician for clinicians, most frequently gynaecologists who are battling to understand reproductive pathology in the infertile male patient. It is intended to familiarize the gynaecologist and other interested clinicians in the clinical management of an infertile man and provide that individual with practical guidance to a clinical problem.

"...covers the subject in a logical and comprehensive way, and it will be highly regarded by clinicians and students...a welcome addition for the rapidly growing number of gynaecologists advising and treating infertile couples"<br /> <i>BMJ</i>
<p><strong>Anne M. Jequier</strong> is the author of <em>Male Infertility: A Guide for the Clinician</em>, published by Wiley.
No current book tells the clinician how to handle a patient with infertility and abnormal semen analysis who arrives in front of him or her in the infertility clinic. The time is right for a new book that looks at the clinical aspects of this subject only and which is directed specifically at the clinicians. One must remember that the majority of clinicians that treat male infertility are gynaecologists who, unlike the author have had no training whatsoever in urology. The problem of examining let alone treating the infertile man is therefore very daunting.
