<p><b>Avy</b><b> Joseph</b>, UK, (www.city-minds.com) is a Director and Co- founder of the College of Cognitive Behavioural Therapies (CCBT) and City Minds. He is a registered and accredited CBT therapist with the AREBT and the BABCP and runs a busy clinic in central London.<br />He gained a Master’s degree in Rational-Emotive Behavioural Therapy, one of the main schools of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy from Goldsmiths College, University of London in 2001. He graduated with a degree in mathematics, after which he qualified as a counsellor and then worked in the private sector for many years in training and development. He has lectured both nationally and internationally.<br />Over the years he has developed many workshops and courses that have culminated in the development of specialist courses at the CCBT.<br />Avy believes everyone has the potential to make positive changes in their lives for more effective and emotionally healthy living.
